Player’s panel beta new feature



Hello,
We introduced an automatic recovery option for deleted characters from player’s account, some time ago. You can do that through player’s panel beta under address: panelbeta.hellground.pl (after log in – bookmark “Characters” – restore option will show you itself only after a character deletion, next to the name you will see annotation [Del]), in addition there is a new conveniences – possibility of friend list view, an information of item stack quantity. Accurate specification which characters you are able to undelete is here.

MoveMap … !



Announcement:

As you all noticed, lately we experienced problems with NPCs movement, which were then vanishing with no visible reason.
It is caused by major changes in their movement generating system. It’s not fully functional yet, so the problems may still occur.

But every cloud has a silver lining :P

I announce all and sundry, that after heavy fights with changes and optimization of core, today we added MoveMaps.

MoveMaps – what is that?
It’s a system responsible for generating path on maps, just like the vmaps are responsible for LoS and height calculations.

But the system requires more servers resources.
Currently the movemaps are implemented everywhere (only for chasemovement), to check servers behaviour under sever conditions.
We don’t promise, that movemaps will be enabled on every map and for every movement.

As our work over emulators performance will progress, we are going to expand the range of operations using movement maps system.

UNSTUCK option has been also modified and is now available from the WoW client, it is designed for use, when we are stuck/blocked travelling across the world.

How does it work?

- If you are alive and your Hearthstone is not on CD: you will be moved to the Innkeeper, where you have set your HS location + you will get CD on HS.
- If you are alive and your Hearthstone is on CD/ don’t have HS: You will be moved to your races start location.
- If you are dead: you will be moved to the nearest graveyard.

For some time in our new players panel (http://panelbeta.hellground.pl) you can find stuff like:
-unstuck option, which besides of a teleport also debugs your character in situations like flying under textures,
-preview of general characters informations (quests, equipment and spells).

New system queue BG



Feel invited to test new Battleground queue system.

What changed?

First of all:
It offers 2 queues: premade vs premade and a normal one. What does it mean?
After queueing the whole group will be confronted on BG against another premade from other faction.
If on the other side no premade group is signed in, then after 5 minutes you will be moved to normal queue and will fight against random players. :]

Second of all:
Changes in normal queue, which means more balanced players selection.
Now your random teams should contain nearly equal number of players in battleground !

SEASON 4



Resets and inauguration of S4

After long waiting the progress of second phase on Isle of Quel’Danas has exceeded the magic 40% barrier. Monday arena’s scoring will be the last before the introduction of S4.

It is the last bell for people who want to buy something for honor or BoJ, because with the introduction of S4 all arena ratings, honor, arena points and battleground marks on all characters with level 70 will be completly reseted. According to the announcement, number of Badge of Justice will be dramatically reduced to 100 + 5% of the rest. For people who have less than 100 this reduce does not matter. Similary to this, all twinks and characters which have less than 70 level – their PvP achievements remain intact.

Reset is planned for Thursday’s evening.; after previous announcements in game server will be turned off for a couple of minutes. S4 vendors will be added some time later after the reset – when we will be sure that everything is buttoned to the last button.

As previously announced the prices of S4 will be slightly higher than Blizzard; we also decided for introducing minimal rating requirements for S3.

Shoulders: 2200
Weapon: 2050
Head: 1850
Chest: 1750
Legs: 1650
Gloves: 1550
Off-hand: 1550

S3:
Shoulders: 1950
Weapon: 1800
Head: 1550

Season’s end date and precise conditions on which awards will take place will appear in several weeks.

PTR tests



[PTR] What to test?

Feel free to join our PTR (Public Test Realm) for testing the following things:

-The new movement spline subsystem,
-Modified FleeingMovement (Fear, Death Coil).

What will we receive?

-The end of arena visuals after fear (player in place X, but in fact in place Y),
-More random fear movement (instead of running in straight line),
-Fear should not throw anyone in textures, the same like Polymorph and Blind (in places with height vmap on).

Look for problems with:

-Flying mobs, fears, other movement effects,
-If something should fly and it is not: report that,
-Pets and their speed, when player is mounted etc.

Information – sezon IV


More informations from Isle of Quel’Danas

2 weeks have passed since introducing Isle of Quel’Danas on HG. First phase completed, but there’s a lot of work to do! New quests are available, they are requied for further progress, not necessarily connected to Isle.

Furthermore, we encourage people interested with S4 to perform quests, because the introduce of S4 is stronly associated with Isle progress. We’ve decited that S4 will come in 40% progress of II phase. If you focus on quests the last arena counts will occur on 14th January’s morning and soon after that – proceded before, on forum – reset.

Then inside-S4 reset term will be given, expected on this spring. We’ve aggred upon that the S4 rating requirements will be a little greater than official Blizzard requirements. We hope that it will increase the difficulty of gaining that set, so it will be designed only for the best PvP players on Hellground. That requirements will be reduced after next reset.

With January S4 entry we plan reset of all honor, ap, all BG marks and raitings in all teams. On the same day we’ll reduce your Badge of Justice to 100+5% of the rest.

Also, for PvE players I’ll add, that with the end of I phase on Isle of Quel’Danas the attuments for Black Temple and Mount Hyjal will be abandoned, at next Wednesday. Quest’s chain is still available so you can still gain Hand of A’dal title, but you do not need it to enter these instances, you need only 70th lvl.
